Young Professionals Give Back
Our members volunteer at local non-profit organizations & community events throughout the city. We also encourage our members to join Boards and Committees for those organizations.

Leadership Development
We invest in our future leaders with leadership luncheons featuring local community leaders, business owners and community organizations.
Our Lunch & Learn Series offers workforce development seminars, city and community updates and other leadership events hosted by local community leaders. Special speaking programs and other educational events are also offered to our members.

Third Thursday Mixers are held monthly, every third Thursday, at various restaurants, bars and lounges in and around Odessa. Members can take advantage of free or discounted drinks and food.

Annual Fundraiser Event
We host an annual fundraiser each year benefitting a local non-profit chosen by Young Professional’s Board of Directors.
The event is a themed event and has provided funding for several deserving charities and initiatives over the years. We have donated over $50,000 to local charities through the event. Past recipients included the Crises Center, Harmony Home, Chris Kyle Memorial Statute, West Texas Food Bank, and Odessa Christmas in Action.
Odessa Under 40
Our newest fundraiser highlights young professionals who live or work in Odessa who are excelling professionally, while also being civically involved in their community.
Nominations are open to the general public. A judging panel will choose our honorees. Those honored, will be featured in a magazine print publication and they will be feted with a red-carpet gala.

Kickoff Mixer
The Kickoff Mixer offers a review of the year and our successes as an organization.
Committee Chairs recap their events and update us on what is to come. We also recognize our outgoing and incoming Board of Directors. This event also serves as our Awards Ceremony where we honor our members with the following awards: Volunteer of the Year, Networking Professional of the Year, Sondra Eoff Leadership Award, Member of the Year, Board Member of the Year, Community Partner of the Year, & Sponsor of the Year.

LEADERSHIP
Plan and execute all "Lunch & Learn" and "Esteemed Speaker" events; identify leadership opportunities for member growth.
SOCIAL
Plan and execute all social events, mixers and networking opportunities.
MARKETING/MEMBERSHIP
Handle all aspects of marketing, maintain updated list of all current members, coordinate new strategies for gaining new members & company partners. Plan and execute our Annual Meeting.
FUNDRAISING
Plan and execute our annual fundraising event

Plans the "Odessa Under 40" fundraiser.
